Lion Drum Group

The Drum Group is a 12-piece ensemble consisting of percussionists from the Conscript Band. It performs as a separate unit and as part of the marching band.

The Drum Group prepares and rehearses at least one drum salute (i.e. a joint drum solo of the entire group) per year, which is performed as part of the marching performance and as a separate number at a variety of events and the band’s own concerts.

The group is known for its wild and visually impressive solos, synchronised movements and skilful playing.
