Ensembles

The Guards Band consists of 42 full-time musicians. One of the duties for the Helsinki-based band is performing at The Independence Day’s reception at the Presidential Palace.

Most of the daily performances are fulfilled with the band unit including 25 musicians. Other ensembles are Guards Combo, Guards Septet, The Guards Wind Quintet, Femu Brass Band and Tusan Brass.

The Conscript Band is formed from conscripts serving with the military band. Annually, it plays at over 100 events which range from devotional services to dinner dances.
